| The Saturday Farmer's Market
If you're on Gabriola on a Saturday anytime from the May long weekend to Thanksgiving weekend, you won't want to miss the Farmer's Market. Starting at 10:00 a.m. and ending at noon, the market is a fun event for locals and visitors alike. Folks can wander the market, picking up fresh baked goods and locally grown fruits and vegetables. There are also lots of opportunities to purchase lovely arts and crafts, and listen to buskers. Coffee and breakfast is available on site as well. You'll find the market just a short walk (or a very short drive) from the ferry landing, at the corner of North Road and South Road, at AGI Agricultural Hall. (Dogs are welcome, as long they are on a leash and well behaved!)
