This unique bunkhouse is a 100 sq. ft. fully equipped cabin. It has one double bottom bunk and one single top bunk. Also has a fridge, coffeemaker, washroom with toilet, shower and sink. It is located on a 20 acre farm adjacent to Petroglyph Trail. Breakfast with our own farm fresh eggs available upon request ($7/person). $40/night for the bunkhouse, a wonderfully affordable rate.

Blue Heron Beach House: Beach Front on False Narrows. There is a pet fee for both camping and cottaging pets. $5 for camping and $7.50 for cottage. Dogs need to be on leashes (or VERY well controlled) and messes picked up of course. 

Restaurant at the Haven
The Haven offers delicious buffet-style meals in our ocean front dining room, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Members of the public are most welcome to come join our program participants and conference guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is important to call in advance (250 247 9211 ext 0) and reserve as we are often full. Breakfast is served between 8-9am, lunch between 12-1pm, dinner from 6-7pm. We have a licenced bar. There are always options for vegetarians and meat eaters, and our menu is available to view on our web site (www.haven.ca).

Pets Procedure
We have two rooms available for guests with small pets. There is a service charge of $25 per day to cover additional cleaning costs during/after your stay. Prices are subject to change. 

In order to ensure that pets do not disrupt the stay of other guests, we ask that you observe these simple rules: 

• One pet per room. If you have more than one pet, you must receive permission from a Manager.
• Pets must be kept on an appropriate leash at all times while outside the room. 
• Please pick up after your pet.  Plastic bags are available at reception if you do not have your own.  A receptacle for pet waste is outside your room.
• Pets are to be kept quiet to ensure other guests are not disturbed. 
• Pets are not allowed on any furniture, including beds.
• Dirty and wet pets should be kept out of the room until they are clean and dry. Rags are available through reception to use in drying and cleaning your pet.
• Pets are NEVER to be left alone in your room.
• If you leave your room, please keep your pet in your vehicle.
• After you have checked out of your room our Housekeeping Supervisor will inspect your room to see if any exceptional/unusual cleaning is necessary to return the room to standard guest use. If this is the case you may be charged for the extra cleaning.

Guests with pets on property who do not comply with the Pets Procedure may be asked to leave.

Office hours
All rooms are available to rent all week. The office is open:

• Friday - Monday from 9 am - 5 pm
• Tuesday - Thursday from 9 am - 4 pm

Messages are checked every hour throughout the week and when the office is closed.

Silva Bay Inn is offering a terrific winter special: if you stay with us one night, you’ll receive the second night at 1/2 price! This special, in addition to our lower winter rates, makes a cozy, winter getaway affordable!.

Silva Bay Inn has 7 spacious suites with kitchenettes, full bath, cable television, wifi internet access. Guests can enjoy spectacular waterfront views of Silva Bay, the Flat Top Islands and the North Shore Coastal mountains. Other amenities on site include: propane BBQ, gift galleries, fishing, sailing and guided kayak tours from our marina. Within a short walk are the followingamenities: restaurant and pub, laundry, liquor store and Tofino Air's Gabriola float plane terminal. Walking and biking trails are accessible within a short walk as well as picturesque Provincial Parks.

Pet Policy
We do accept well behaved, small to medium dogs. Generally we reserve suite #3 as our pet friendly suite. We do charge a $25/dog charge. We usually interview the client to insure that it is a well mannered dog. We have made exceptions with other suites as well. If the dog is a breed that sheds a lot the charge goes up to $25/day as it’ll require a major sweep.
