A Christian-American archaeologist, Dr Albert Glock uncovered truths about the distant Palestinian past which Israel found uncomfortable. For Israel, Palestine was a country without a people - for a people without a country. Glock, through his archaeological finds, was showing that their version was flawed. He also helped document the Palestinian villages occupied and depopulated by Israel in 1948. Then he was murdered in the West Bank and no satisfactory investigation followed.
Canadian playwright Arthur Milner speculates on the murder, creating a joint Israeli/Palestinian police investigation over the killing. The evidence points to a young Israeli settler with radical Zionist leanings. Facts is a chilling and taut political-crime thriller and an exciting piece of drama. It offers a rare theatrical opportunity for both an Israeli and a Palestinian protagonist to wade through the greater political dilemma within the microcosm of a murder investigation.
