Cost: $10 per person | Please pre-register by contacting Judy or Lisa at: bereadygabriola@gmail.com |

For those of you who are just learning it’s good to be prepared for emergencies small and large.

COURSE 1 in EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS is a two-hour hands-on course to get yourself, your home, and family prepared for a disaster, and to survive and thrive afterwards. Know-how + Experience means Empowerment!

As we’ve seen, after-effects of a disaster will last more than 72 hours or a week, so we’ll teach you how to be prepared and not scared. We start with your Get-Home-Bag and go through best practices for Food storage, Health and Sanitation, Water, Shelter, Kids, Pets, People with Disabilities, Emotional well-being, Medical devices, and Home safety.

The cost is $10 per person at the door and is presented by Lisa Chambers and Judy Moshinski. If you would like to pre-register for this course that gives us a good idea of items we can gather to get your Get-Home-Bag started. Contact us at bereadygabriola@gmail.com.

COURSE 2 is on January 18th!
