These photographs explore nature’s manifestation of the rich interplay of energy and information forming our reality. To express some of that richness, my prints are often rather complex in composition with underlying energy expressed as strong lines, textures or forms.
When making a photograph, I strive to be present in the moment and the place, to be open to what nature shows me. I respect what is offered. The experience is what matters. A good photograph is a bonus. A successful photograph brings a sense of the powerful presence of nature to the viewer in the form of an expressive print.
